Nutrition is the Key that unlocks the door to Good Health
![]() |
Food (nutrition) is the fuel that keeps our bodies going through out the day. Putting the proper nutrients into our bodies, in the required quantities, at the right times is the key to keeping your body in balance and functioning at peek levels. - When the body is well fed and in balance we tend to go through the day with greater energy and mental clarity. Our aches and pains lessen, our reactions to allergies are less severe, we generally tend to fall ill less often and when we do get sick we manage to fight off the illness more quickly. In short, because we are healthier we feel better! |

Have you ever wondered why, in this age of modern technology, nutritional supplements, diet products, diet programs and home exercise equipment Americans seem to be more sickly than ever before?
Have you ever really thought about it?
That’s what this web site is all about. We are here to take the confusion out of the science of nutrition, more importantly to offer you a simple logical approach to wellness.

The Question
What model was used to create the standards being put forward here?
No one can answer that question. You see these standards were created by using a human model that simply does not exist. Do you agree that every person’s body is different thus each of us digests and utilizes food differently? If you do then you must also agree that 5 cups of vegetables, for example, is going to deliver varied amounts of nutrition to each individual person based on a number of factors including preparation of the food.
When I speak to people about this issue their responses, as expected, naturally vary to a degree. What I do hear most of the time however is; “it doesn’t matter to me because I use supplements”! My usual response to that retort is; “that’s great, nutritional supplements are important, but I have to ask you, what guidelines do you think the supplement manufactures use to produce their products”? Silence! Confused look! Response; “I never thought about that”.
Another important issue that I want to bring to your attention is that the nutritional value of our food has been on the decline for decades. In a US Senate Report (Document 264 published in 1936) stated that most of the American Farmland had become seriously depleted in minerals. From the 1992 Earth Summit we learned that the situation has grown far worse. It is now known that American produce is 85% depleted of important minerals. This is a serious problem and everyone should be made aware of it. Read Report Here
You see, all of these variables in nutrition make it virtually imposable for us to get the nutrition that we need from the foods that we eat alone. We must use supplements to bridge the gap between the nutrition that we need and that which we are actually receiving. Unfortunately this sounds easier than it really is. Just like whole foods all nutritional supplements are not created equally.
